The Board shall meet on June 12, 2025, after the conclusion of the auction. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, even bids which are at or above the minimum bid. Immediately upon conclusion of the auction, the high bidder shall (a) sign the Auction Real Estate Purchase Contract and (b) shall pay a deposit in the amount of $50,000.00 (non-refundable) by cashier’s check from a financial institution, made payable to Delaware City Schools. The Deposit shall be (i) applied against the purchase price if the Board approves the high bid; or (ii) retained by the Board if the Board approves the high bid but the high bidder does not complete the purchase of the Property. If the Board accepts the high bid, the balance of the purchase price shall be payable at closing, with the closing to occur no later than June 30, 2025. Only unconditional bids shall be accepted.
