FUND-A-NEED AUCTION: to benefit Marion Women’s Club projects/programs; spotters will be located throughout Auditorium to assist. Valerie will be “on stage” with Auctioneer to assist him throughout auction

Served in the Historic Dining Room of the Marion Women’s Club Home using
period china plateware & silver serving/eating utensils
Choose from American -or- Italian Cuisine, Five-Course Homemade Dinner

YOU choose the date (based on availability); no rental charge

*** Highest bid WINS. May offer “second” Dinner-in-the-Dining Room to 2nd highest bidder if s/he is willing to pay same as winning bid.

 
  1. “Women’s History Resource Center” – Phase II Renovation
*** 2-MINUTE VIDEO to be played before the bidding on this begins ***
Bidders will bid on “donation amounts” to support the renovation of the Carriage House (located on the property behind historic home) into the Women’s History Resource Center
Funding ($50,000+) is needed to complete Phase II renovation
Will provide climate-controlled preservation for Marion Women’s Club archives, one of the most complete records of women’s history, Midwestern history, and civic association history in the nation

CONDUCT AUCTION UNTIL WE OBTAIN “HIGHEST” BID, ask 2nd, 3rd, 4th highest (other) bidders if they are willing to donate their bid amount. No need to auction this again.

 
  1. “Ida Barlow Brilliance Award Fund” Auction
Tonight’s goal: $5,000, If we raise this amount, it will bring our endowed fund at Marion Community Foundation to $25,000 so that a $1,000 grant can be awarded to a local woman for the “Ida Barlow Award” every year FOREVER (in perpetuity)
Our 2023 winner, Jenni Hypes from Aspire Ministries, will have been introduced earlier in the evening.
